Pixel by pixel, piece by piece

My work as CUBZ explores the relationship between the fragility of the urban and the permanence of the symbol. Through mosaic, pixel art, and street intervention, I compose images that dialogue with the everyday, the broken, and the invisible. I use fragments—of ceramics, memory, and popular culture—to reconstruct recognizable or completely new figures, always from the tension between decomposition, play, and resistance.

As a Chilean artist, I find in the Global South a unique aesthetic strength, where precariousness is also a language. My interventions seek to generate questions, interruptions, emotions. Not just to decorate a wall, but to open cracks in the landscape.

Pixel by pixel, piece by piece .

I reclaim what’s fragile, forgotten, or broken.

Art is my way to resist disappearance.

To remember, to disrupt, to stay..
